About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol in Baton Rouge, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and interacting with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, which may include areas related to financial operations.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or other criminal activity through high-visibility patrols and attentive presence.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related observations as required by site protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and/or customers with general inquiries and directions, delivering a professional and approachable presence at the location.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
