Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Screening in Graniteville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, greet visitors, and support a smooth flow of employees and deliveries. You will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and document security-related activity while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an automotive location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining access logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of doors, gates, and restricted areas to identify irregular conditions and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns through the established reporting process.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, preserve information for follow-up, and support investigations by maintaining accurate records and chain of custody when applicable.
