About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and other security-related policies for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, maintain access logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns within office, campus, and/or facility environments.
  • Support badge issuance, key and access device control, and related administrative tasks while following post orders and documenting daily activities, incidents, and policy-related violations.
