Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and access control procedures.
  • Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and/or designated screening stations to help identify unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, while maintaining awareness of operational activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy-related concerns.
