In this role, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while interacting with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location, in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, drivers, and employees at access control points.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activities and/or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with onsite personnel to maintain a secure environment in logistics and distribution areas.
Follow all emergency response procedures as outlined in site-specific policies.
