Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Management Full-Time in Yonkers, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures and protocols.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain authorized access.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address and resolve security-related concerns.
