Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Management Full-Time in Yonkers, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain authorized access.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address and resolve security-related concerns.
