About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Gate Specialist in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within an automotive facility. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the automotive facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines and client instructions.
