As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, patrol assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify irregularities.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Maintain clear and professional communication with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and emergency responders as needed.
