As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges and logs, and monitor entrances and cameras to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver customer-focused communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing guests and deliveries to the proper location.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
