Join Allied Universal at a busy terminal location in an Access Control post, supporting badge issuance and verification, checking credentials such as TWIC, and guiding visitors and drivers through entry procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, complete routine patrols of nearby access points, and document activity while delivering strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and integrity-driven.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entrances, gates, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and maintaining access logs per site policy.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, including driver check-in and directing individuals to the appropriate staging and/or screening areas as required by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including perimeter points and access routes, and document observations in reports per site procedures.
