About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, monitor badges and visitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns with strong communication and teamwork. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned by site requirements.
• Support screening and checkpoint activities for personnel, vendors, and/or drivers, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity while maintaining professional communication.
