As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, support tenants and guests with exceptional customer service, and maintain clear communication at all times. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors at the commercial real estate location.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed while following site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for potential security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.
