Security Officer Access Control

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with property management and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or after-hours activity, following post instructions and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
- Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring alarms and cameras when assigned, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities and site conditions.
