Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic manufacturing location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor badge activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience are preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and perimeter gates.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points, equipment yards, and other sensitive industrial areas.
Maintain accurate logs of visitor activity, deliveries, and/or contractor access while reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and other security-related matters according to site procedures.
