About The Position

As a Security Officer - Entry Control Driver in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage lobby and entry point access, greet visitors, verify credentials, and support badge and key control. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, where our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture shines through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Control entry and exit at designated points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate areas per property guidelines.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems as assigned, and communicate unusual activity to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and completing required notifications.
  • Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity reports, and support other security-related duties as assigned.
