As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits at manufacturing and chemical locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and deliver exceptional customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related activities.
Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and addressing concerns from individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or breaches of site policies.
Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with site personnel and first responders as needed.
Maintain awareness of surroundings within manufacturing and chemical processing environments, identifying and reporting potential hazards or unusual conditions.
