Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to control authorized access to the location.
Respond to incidents, delivery-related issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, dock areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, with attention to security-related concerns and unusual activity.
Support Allied Universal and site personnel with visitor management, employee access requests, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
