As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points and managing badge control at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This primarily driving post offers the opportunity to interact with personnel, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
This role is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed and support overall security-related operations at the location.
