About The Position
As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check in visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, trailer areas, gates, and perimeter, with attention to changing conditions across the location.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, maintaining access logs, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and transportation personnel regarding site procedures.
