About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Bridgeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support badge verification while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity in accordance with post instructions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Support receiving, delivery, and contractor access processes by confirming approved entry, directing traffic flow, and reporting policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity.
