As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
