About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Post in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing sign-in, and monitoring entry points for security-related concerns. You will remain visible, complete routine rounds nearby, and communicate clearly with on-site teams to help reduce incidents and keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor registration and badge issuance, and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating truck check-in and/or check-out, verifying delivery and pickup information, and directing traffic flow per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
