About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This driving role requires you to remain visible throughout assigned areas, assisting tenants and visitors and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Assist visitors and employees with entry procedures and provide directions or information as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence at access points.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at access points in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns observed during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives at the location.
