About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence and professionalism will help maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position may require driving as part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage distribution environment.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for food and beverage locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities observed during patrols or access control duties.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
