As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a secure environment for everyone onsite. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including checking for proper authorization and reporting any suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs and/or reports as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local responders when appropriate.
