As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of all activities, incidents, and irregularities observed.
Assist visitors, contractors, and employees by providing information and direction as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support the security-related needs of the location.
