About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Thomson, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and responding to inquiries regarding access procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
