About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Edmond, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with security-related inquiries and directions as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any unusual activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Work closely with location management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate any concerns or incidents that arise during the shift.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following location-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
