About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Hub in Schertz, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

A guard card or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as necessary to address security-related issues or emergencies.
Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and emergency response activities to assist in the protection of people and property.
