Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Guard in Elm Grove, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and maintain accurate access logs for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or operational issues.
Support screening and traffic flow at gates, docks, and other restricted areas while communicating clearly with site personnel, drivers, and visitors.
