Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in Weiner, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, patrol designated areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication skills will provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you support the security-related needs of the location. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors and/or contractors regarding security-related matters as needed.
