About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Utilities Driver in Moundsville, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols throughout utility locations. Your presence and professionalism will provide a welcoming environment while you interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and guidance on site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any irregularities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to those at the location.
