About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Utilities Driver in Moundsville, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols throughout utility locations. Your presence and professionalism will provide a welcoming environment while you interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and guidance on site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any irregularities.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to those at the location.
