As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and guiding them according to site-specific procedures and policies.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff to support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or unauthorized activities within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
