As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and guiding them according to site-specific procedures and policies.
Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with on-site staff to support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or unauthorized activities within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
