As an Access Control Officer supporting logistics and distribution operations, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for everyone onsite. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, documenting all entries as required by site protocols.
Provide customer service by answering questions, assisting visitors, and guiding delivery personnel according to location procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activity.
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures while maintaining professional conduct at all times.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location staff to address any security-related concerns or observations.
Participate in emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
