As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access procedures, and delivering outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for access control at the location.
Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter and report suspicious activity.
Maintain accurate logs and records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff regarding security-related matters and site policies.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with fellow Allied Universal team members to support overall security-related operations at the location.
