Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access at designated entry points within the healthcare location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors, assisting with questions regarding access procedures and building guidelines.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized access within the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any irregularities.
Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and on-site contacts as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in detailed reports according to Allied Universal and client standards.
