You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication and teamwork. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate logs of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report irregular conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with incident scene control as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized entry, identify security-related concerns, and support site rules.
