As an Access Control officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with questions related to access procedures and location protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns or incidents.
Remain alert and attentive while stationed at access control points to help to deter potential disruptions within the commercial real estate environment.
