Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Hazel Park, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology and media environment, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Report suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuations or lockdowns when necessary.
Maintain detailed records and logs of security-related events and interactions as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the location.
