As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and maintaining a strong presence throughout the food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors with inquiries and following site-specific access procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to identify and address potential security-related concerns within the location.
Document and report all security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal protocols.
