Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Delray Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within commercial real estate locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities according to site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with property management and/or building staff as needed to address security-related issues and support daily operations.
