As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents at the assigned location. You will interact with visitors and staff to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches of site policies to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
Follow site-specific post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
