Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, in line with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation and/or lockdown procedures as directed.
