Requirements

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting employees and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or conditions.
Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and emergency response activities.
Document observations and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisory staff regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
