About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Brighton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances, manage authorized access, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with inquiries or directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to address security-related concerns and support site operations as required.
