Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Saint Pauls, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol a food and beverage production location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Work closely with site management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
Participate in emergency response activities according to site-specific policies and procedures.
