You will perform routine patrols, manage access control points, and interact with visitors and employees while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or potential hazards within the food and beverage production environment.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and to check for any signs of tampering or suspicious activity.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site-specific policies.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding personnel during evacuations or lockdowns according to site procedures.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
