As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and manage badge access to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents, while your professional communication and customer service skills will contribute to a positive experience for all visitors and employees. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to management and/or law enforcement as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to address inquiries and provide assistance related to access control.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site leadership to maintain a secure environment in a technology-focused setting.
