As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Manage access control by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location, in accordance with established protocols.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at entry and exit points.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to identify and report any unusual activity.
Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or security-related concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets at the location.
