As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and manage entry points at a leading technology location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Manage access control by verifying credentials and granting or denying entry to authorized individuals at the location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help identify and respond to suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to report and resolve security-related issues.
